In a game or on Discord, your nickname is a first impression. Even the same name stands out and stays memorable with one extra special character. Here are some easy nickname ideas you can follow.
Wrap both sides in symbols
The easiest, cleanest method is to wrap your nickname in the same symbol on both sides: ★ name ★, ꒰ ⸝⸝ name ⸝⸝ ꒱, and so on. Symmetry looks tidy and suits any game. Nickname generates symmetric decorations automatically when you type a word — just pick one you like and copy.
Insert dots and stars between letters
Putting small symbols between letters — n·a·m·e, n˚a˚m˚e — gives a long, elegant feel. But too many become hard to read, so one or two in a short nickname looks best.
Allowed characters differ by game
One caution: each game allows different special characters. Some accept stars and hearts but block bracket-type symbols (꒰꒱). If a character breaks or won't enter in the rename field, try a different symbol. The Symbols collection makes it easy to pick and test stars, hearts, arrows, and more by type.
Discord supports font conversion too
Discord nicknames accept not only regular special characters but also Unicode fonts like Instagram fonts. Paste the same name in bold, script, or rounded letters and the vibe changes completely. Using a different style than everyone else on a server really stands out.
Save the ones you like
Make a bunch and they get hard to find again. Save your favorite nicknames to Favorites by tapping the heart, and you can pull them up for other games later.
