A standout username is half fonts, half symbols. Here's how to build one that pops on Discord, in games, and on social — all copy and paste.
1. Start with a font
Run your name through the Fancy Text Generator and pick a style — bold 𝗯𝗼𝗹𝗱, cursive 𝓬𝓾𝓻𝓼𝓲𝓿𝓮, or double-struck 𝕔𝕠𝕠𝕝. A different style instantly looks more distinctive than plain text.
2. Frame it with symbols
Wrap the name in matching symbols: ✦ name ✦, ꒰ name ꒱, or ⋆˚ name ˚⋆. Symmetrical framing looks the cleanest.
3. Or let it auto-generate
Short on time? Type a word into the Nickname tool and it builds decorated versions for you — pick one and copy.
Watch the rules
Some games and apps only allow certain characters. If a name won't save or shows boxes, swap to simpler symbols, or use a font-only version. Discord accepts both Unicode fonts and most symbols, so it's the most flexible.
Add personality
Finish with a tiny text face like ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ or a Lenny for a playful edge. Save favorites with the heart (♡) to reuse across accounts.
