Terms of Service

These terms set out the conditions for using MojiBox (“the Site”). By using the Site, you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

The Site provides text-based tools and content free of charge: collections of emoticons (kaomoji) and special characters, a font converter, an emoticon maker, nickname decoration, ASCII art, and a magazine. There is no sign-up and no payment.

2. Content and Copyright

The kaomoji and special characters on the Site are combinations of Unicode characters that anyone may use; they are public characters with no copyright belonging to any individual. However, the Site’s category system, category introductions, magazine articles, conversion and generator algorithms, design, and brand (including the logo) are original works of MojiBox, and the rights belong to the Site operator.

3. Permitted Use

You may freely use any kaomoji, symbols, or converted text copied from the Site anywhere — messengers, social media, game nicknames — with no attribution required. However, copying the Site’s articles, categorization, or design wholesale to build a similar service is not permitted.

4. Favorites and Data Storage

Favorites, recent items, and theme settings are stored only in your browser (local storage). If you clear your browser data, they are deleted as well, and the Site cannot restore them.

5. Advertising

To keep the service free, the Site may display ads through Google AdSense. See the Privacy Policy for details on advertising and cookies.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Site’s tools and content are provided “as is”. Some characters may look broken or be restricted in certain devices or apps; this depends on each platform’s support, and the Site does not guarantee correct display in every environment. The Site is not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the Site, except in cases of intent or gross negligence.

7. Changes to or Suspension of the Service

The Site may change or discontinue all or part of the service without prior notice. As a free service, no compensation is owed for such changes.

8. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated as the service or applicable laws change. Updates will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Site after posting constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
